Anica Milenkovic
Anica Milenkovic (Anica Milenković) was born on August 5th 1978 in the little village Kasidol near Požarevac. She considers herself an unwanted child, as her father wanted by all means a male child, after two daughters, Vesna and Zlatka. At the time of pregancy, doctors lied to her father, aware of that situation, telling him his wife carried male twins.

She showed up for the first time on the yougoslavian scene in 1991 with the album ''Mlade godine mogu sve'' (Young years can do everything) published by Juzni vetar. The video-clip for her song ''Na lancicu tvoje ime'' (Your name on the necklace), shot on a flea-market was extremely popular at the time.

In 1993, her second album ''Devojacki snovi'' (Girl's dreams) comes out. Her parents divorce in that time, and her father uses her financially, which she later certified.

In 1994, her third album ''Korak Napred, Korak Nazad'' (A step forth, a step back) comes out for PGP-RTS. She had problems in highschool because of her popularity, good earnings and absence from school, but she finished it later. She made her first TV show for TV Pristina and her first solo tour, but due to bad publicity from her record company and her father taking all money from it, she left PGP.

In 1995 she came up with her fourth album ''Molitva'', but its issue passed unnoticed due to lack of media attention, so she lived by old fame. She leaves her father because of his sabotages, makes peace with her mother and starts to perform in Sabacka kafana.

In 1995, she is finally major, finally thin and her fifth album ''Ludilo'' (Madness) came out in ZAM record company. The director, Sasa Popovic didn't believe in her comeback, but she had a reasonable success wit songs ''Moje malo ludilo''(My little madness), ''Strela ljubavi'' (The arrow of love) and especially ''Svadba ce da bude'' (A wedding will be), a song she sang with Nedeljko Bajic Baja, with whom it was said she had a relationship, which allowed her to perform in the West.

The next year she came up with another album, ''Carobnjak'' (Magician), had a secret relation with an older man whom she made her manager. She didn't make a career with scandals...

She was among the first artists to issue her CD by Grand productions ''Miljenica'' (Favoured one), but the bombarding of Serbia ruined the promotion of the album.

At the end of the next year she came up with ''Uzmi me za ruku'' (Take me by the hand), but the studio of Grand productions burned down, so she didn't have luck this either.

Her next album ''Pustam te'' (I let you) wasn't very successful either, as her record company Best didn't last very long.

In 2003, she came up with her next album ''Pile moje'' (My chicken) for PGP, but she had little promotion, as PGP did little to promote folk performers at that time.

Next year she returned to grand with fresh sillicone breasts and a new album ''Sad ili nikad'' (Now or never), and ZAM productions made a double compilation of her greatest hits - ''Divlji vetar'' (Wild wind). She broke up a long lasting relationship due to her boyfriend using her financially.
