A name not many are aware of in the music industry, but this is soon set to change.

Currently on a musical journey as a solo artist, LJ is continuing to write and push the boundaries with a brand new sound. Think RnB mixed with Soul and an eclectic array of influences, and you'd be close to describing the musical direction he is pursuing. His underlying focus is to make music that's not just for the moment, but something that will stand the test of time.

With his debut EP on the horizon comes this little gem, a taste of what is to come: Nothing Lasts Forever. Filled with soaring guitars and haunting strings this undeniably catchy melody is a beautiful showcase for LJ's smooth rich voice. There's no question that this artist has something wonderful to offer and Nothing Lasts Forever tells the dramatic story of love lost and rekindled but with a twist. Its a strong and accomplished track which once heard refuses to be easily forgotten.

LJ has been honing his skills from the tender age of ten when he was involved in the local church choir and then later the youth group in Cape Town, South Africa. Music soon became his primary motivation to attend school as a boy and supported by his music teacher he used this burning passion to push his talent forward in any way possible.

Fast forward a few years and now living in Essex in the UK, LJ was offered the chance to front a local band called Heist. This tested his ability as both a writer and a frontman but grabbing this opportunity with both hands LJ never looked back. During his time with the group he performed at many prestigious venues ranging from Kensington to Kings Cross, as well as festivals in Scotland, Ireland and Germany. In his adopted hometown of Southend on Sea, the group were crowned champions of the Battle of the Bands competition which acted as a springboard to gaining more exposure.

LJ Howard is a singer and performer with a drive for success and diversity; he has a deep rooted instinct for emotive lyrics, a catchy beat and a unique sound, all delivered perfectly for the pleasure of his listeners.
